There is a good saying that, learn when you do not know it. However, with this guy in question trying hard as he can to keep his job and to help the loot and share ideology, do otherwise. It seems there are not experienced people in the party to do the good job for the country as a government in power. Appointing such rogues and inexperience braggarts to the helm of affairs of this dear country raises questions. To build your reputation, and make good your area of job, the best one can do is to learn from the experienced ones who have been tested and proven and accepted as best, rather than to resort to childish approach to negatively boost yourself. He is always quick to vilify Dr Bawumia whenever the issue of the economy is raised just to throw dust into the public eye. No wonder the minister of information was not of himself when his own finance minister said the very truth of the economy. Because they have been lying so much about the economy, he's found himself in a tight corner to lie to the good people of the country again. How shameful is that. Meanwhile they are stealing, looting and sharing to enrich themselves, while the citizens suffer. Posterity will judge all of you one by one, just wait and see.

Definitely the aim of such people is to silence academic discussion of issues affecting our daily life.It is up to our leaders to get rid of such people in governance whether NDC or NPP.

Bawumiah has caused a lot of financial disaster about the 10,000 time devaluation of the cedis under Kuffour's Government - that was criminal enough to land him in jail had it not been for Prof Mills refusing to deal with NPP criminals.

NPP members should know that scholarship is a place where ideas battle with each other, and the best wins at the end of the day. We should still have the Christian religious understanding of the Earth if Copernicus was not to have challenged that, though he was given the hemlock to drink, yet is idea that the Earth is round won the day.
We would also like to quote Karl Marx "Poverty of Philosophy" as a rebook to Proudhorn's "Philosophy of Poverty". The latter claim that people are poor because they do not have the ability to make themselves rich. The former replied that people are poor because of the socioeconomic system in which they live. Proudhorn wrote that a slave is poor because he has not got the intelligence to be rich. Karl Marx relied that the slave is poor because in is a person in thrall of another. Break the chain of wager slavery and the person will be free to apply his abilities.
But wait, contrary to what our NPP brothers have been spewing on the web, Dr. Mahmudu Bawumia praised Kwame Nkrumah's agricultural and industrial policy as against NPP's killing of the same, that some NPP members are proud to announce to us that their babies were made in Washington.
It seems that Dr. Pink Sheets though a member of the NPP will not be proud to have a baby make in London.

As a minister of state in Ghana, FiiFi lacks the essential requirements for the office. Unlike Mahama and some other ministers of the regime, he lacks diplomacy, he comes across as arrogant,defensive, disrespectful and otiose. He appears to be of a being who speaks before he thinks; he either lacks the capacity for any academic/intellectual analysis or simply, a rogue.
He reminds one of the adage: empty vessels make the most noise.
Ghana deserves better than this uncouth character.

I do not know how long COYLIB has been in existence and or makeup of its core membership but they ought to learn that the world's civilized, industrious developed nations do have one thing in common and that is love of or for country and stay out of the political fray that is ongoing in Ghana because that dog will not hunt. Yes perhaps through no fault of yours, the COYLIB membership suffer the same incurable disease that ails every Ghana that presumes that classroom earned credentials is synonymous with wisdom; it’s a fallacy.
Dr Bawumia is not Ghana's foremost statistician and or economists; he is a Ghanaian who earned classroom credentials in the field of economics like every other Ghanaian in that field and or other disciplines. But it is Dr. Bawumia who put himself out there as a demigod during the election result contest by espousing a laughable statistical analysis using population sampling methodology and then claim that changes in population size, standard deviations thereof that may result from changes in the raw data numbers did not matter in his calculus. It is the same Dr. Bawumia who talks about the economic activities in Ghana by making comparisons between economic measurements in Ghana relative to those of Britain and the USA even while he ignorantly failed to compare the economic activities between the UK and USA to establish a base for his comparative analysis and assessment. Yes members of COYLIB are free to worship their demigod and even be biased but a collection of yet tribally influenced zealots from Ghana or descendants of Ghana you are and there’s no denying.
