Recent events especially the demonstration in Kumasi show that there are competent capable NPP youth who do not hesitate to do the right thing , strategies and planning on scale almost as perfect as a war effort yet remain humble and real down to earth. These so called elders including Nana Addo underestimated these youth and the brain power they have , maybe its time to give way and allow some of these unknown worthy men /women to come forward and lead. we know many of the youth today have been brainwashed by the NDC propaganda into stupidity so do not see the truth. have you ever asked yourself why is it that when they hear the call WE AKANS they go into a stupefied frenzy of hate ? why is it that Akans are now very cautious of even saying who they are and where they are from , why is it that its only the Akans who believed in the melting pot of Ghana and disregarded their diversities . why is it that today in the ministries most traumatized Akans especially the Fantis and Nzemas will only speak Ga or English yet ewes , northerners and others can freely converse in their mother tongue ? Talk about aggressive tribalism and where its coming from , why is this govt and their minority groups continuously trying to marginalize the Akans and undermine every effort at development since the time of Kotoka . Yes its all about the worst kind of tribalism , hegemony , chauvinism , buga buga , propaganda lies and destructive corruption. We must fight even though we shall be branded mad men , cocaine dealers , drug barons and any other personality or character assassination they can think of . We must not allow them to break our spirit with this deliberate agenda to create poverty , divide and rule , no law or justice for the Akan . We must like it or not seriously consider seceding and forming our own state without these Ewes , Northerners and Gas as that way we leave a legacy and better future for our children . No point in having a country and govt that seems to do well only in making our people miserable and poor , that gives our gold fields to enemies who will never invest a single dollar into our economy but rather do everything to weaken our economies to the point were self reliance is impossible . They do this under the guise of proper business that makes the World bank , IMF and European union happy but we need a Mugabe or Chavez who will look out for the interests of our own people FIRST.

Ask yourself why Alan's boys never resisted Jake and Sir John even though they defied ethics and openly served Nana. DKB, for once I disagree with you. The NPP is in opposition because they are refusing to accept the fact their candidate Nana Addo is not appealing to non-core NPP supporters. He is also the cause of the deep cracks in the party as he does not seem interested in bringing on board those who do not support him. Most of the MPs who openly campaigned against in the last primaries lost their seats in the MPs primaries to those who supported him.
Why will he support "no Nana no vote" if he loves your party? I was very sad when he declared he will contest again because I strongly feel Bawumia would have done a far better job than him. But no he will not stop until the party come to the sudden realization that he is a huge problem for the NPP.
I don't really like Alan, but I hope it would not be too late when NPP wakes up. My fear is that the swing regions are gradually turning into strongholds for the NDC. Let us all be honest with ourselves.

We are quick to identify and highlight the faults of others without highlighting the strength of what we have as alternative. Whenever you think someone has a problem sit back and look at yourself, you may actually be the problem. Change is good but not change just for the sake of it. If these groups continue the way they are going whichever candidate wins the primaries will lose the election, mark my words. If Alan can't win the primaries in his own party how the hell will he win the national elections? Whoever wins the primaries will need the support of the other camp in the party so this is not the time to be dividing yourselves.

Why was it that Akufo Addo could not win an election against an already ailing late President Mills? There is something i cannot easily explain but, i just don't like Nana Akufo Addo and the way he carries himself about that puts me off.
I will struggle to vote for him but, please will somebody explain and persuade me how to change my negative perception about him.

Lets take it as a given that Akufo- Addo is all the things you have said, he is highly flawed and not a good candidate, you have haven't told us how Alan overcomes all these flaws of Akufo-Addo with evidence. Take for example, "Alan is a unifier", when did Alan unify waring factions in the NPP? The experience we know of and have as a fact is when his so called supporters where being harassed by Nana Addo's supporters or so he claims, he did not suck it up to find an amicable solution! He actually did the unthinkable and wrote to resign! That is not the trait of a unifier! In the end the cracks were papered over to allow him to now claim some moral high ground of being the victim in the party.
Nana Addo has a track record of losing national elections but he has won local elections at least, so has a mixed bag. Alan has won diddly squat in elections(mind you Mahama has won local ones too before his presidency), not national, not local, not even internal party elections. He also has international election failure too, that to me is more damning!. If a track record of losing is what we are talking about as an indication of future failure, Alan's record is worse than Nana Addo's. More people voted for Nana Addo than the NPP parliamentarians, what does it say about NPP as party? It says that NPP as a party is failing to sell its message not just the leader's appeal.
It could have been easily said that Nana Addo was the problem if the party was gaining parliamentary seats enough to hold majority but their presidential candidate was falling short of winning the 50 plus one required for the presidency. Indeed in 2008 it was the lack of seats to form the majority that tippe d the final outcome in Mill's favour although Nana Addo was ahead in the first round. The voters gave the presidency to Mills when it became clear that NDC had more seats. One needs more intelligent arguments than these if you are condemning another. Condemn anyone if that is the best tool you have to get your message across but please don't make a mockery of your intelligence with such pap in this case. Nana Addo may be the problem but Alan is certainly not the answer he has no track record of having what it takes to solve all the problems you claim bedevils the NPP.
