Strong partisanship started in Ghana when Kwame Nkrumah divided the nation into patriots and traitors. Patriots were those who accepted that he should be president for life, practice communism and one party state, and indulge in Leftist anti-Western propaganda using the small country's meager resources to challenge centuries' old, well-established countries. They even accepted that he should act as a savior of the Blackman around the world, while tyrannizing his own Black people at home because they have alternative views for the development of their country.

Those who wanted him to concentrate on the needs of the young nation and tone down his rhetoric against the powerful were called traitors, reactionaries, and agents of imperialism that should be liquidated and imprisoned dead or alive. Could you believe that the opposition members he was tyrannizing were the very people who started the struggle for our independence? They employed Nkrumah and paid for his ticket from the UK to come and work as General Secretary of the group, saving him from the tyranny of his joblessness in London. The independence struggle Vanguards were senior civil servants in the Gold Coast. And as the struggle was gaining momentum and the scope of their activities were widening, they needed someone to work full time for the group; free from official work constrains to further spread message of the struggle.

Under their responsibility and protection, Nkrumah used the platform to become the public face of the group and his popularity soared. In those days, many perceive him as the person or the only person fighting for our independence and not a spokesperson of the group. Subsequently, when he heard from the Governor General's female secretary, who was later sacked, that the British were preparing to grant us independence, and he increasingly used needless militant tactics to provoke the Whiteman in order to embarrass his bosses and outsmart them. He then used the opportunity to break away from them, forming his own party and slapping them from behind to take power.

This explains the strong partisanship in the country and why Nkrumah didn't want the Liberation Vanguards to ever come to power in his life time. Maybe, he was afraid of his own ghost. And despite all these facts, his supporters still want us to believe that he initiated, spearheaded and single handedly fought for our independence, and therefore name every national project after him as if we were in a kingdom.

I do not know what kind of a doctor you are but I think you need to revise some basic lessons.- grant a genetic disposition may be an indicator but did you not know that lifestyle changes can avert such dispositions? Do youi know how Akuffo lives his life ?Do you know his medical history?

Above all why have closed your eyes and ears to the suffering of the masses in Ghana? the total incompetence of the NDC ( illegal) government that started with rawlings? the unwise borrowing by the ndc governments( mills and now mahama? the very gross pathos of GHANA? the school systems where in this age school children sit under trees? the woyomeys? brazillian connections in stealing Ghana's monies? the deplorable situation of higher education in GHANA? the unnecessary building of the desalination plant ( think -what a waste?-the Afram and volta drain into the sea then the sea is collected and desalinated?- what nonsense is that? Lest I forget, two of these kids I taught English are reading English (English majors) in Syracuse University (They and I still continue on the same subject matter as of this writing--via our private). Yes, I know you will come back saying I am blowing my horn. Remember, I give you this info to help you deal with your frustration and ignorance.

I shan't give you further info for privacy reasons. These two students are Ghanaians. You can go to the school's website and try your luck there! You may get their names and confirm what you are reading here!

Go back and re-read the quote you attribute to me. Let me help you out:

Did you see "maths," "history" and "etc" in the parenthesis? What do you have to say about those others you glossed (and others)? Do you have any idea what "etc" is? Oh my God, this adult child called Adjoa Wangara!

And do you know what "taught" means? The word "taught," describing the activities of someone who teaches kids "English, maths, history, writing, etc" does not necessarily make him or her an "English teacher."

Anybody with a varied educational background or anybody who has gone a little further than these middle/high school could help teach them any subject. Anyway, I am talking about kids. Teaching adults(or adult-kids like you) about similar subjects is another matter!

The question is: How do you read? I have promised to help you if you tell me exactly what your problems is. Many of us have tried pointing some of them out to you, but you keep running away from them. No one can help if you are not frank with yourself.

And if you think others are not writing so well, try Justice Sarpong. You might learn some good writing skills and grammar from. That way, you can leave communication/English experts like Dr. Michael Bokor and others alone.

Like I said before, I am not too fastidious about grammar, etc. Note the "etc" so you don't go beating about the bush again. Yet I have to respond to your queries about grammar and writing tecniques, etc., because those two are your worst enemies!

It's no wonder NDC guru - Dr. Kwabena Adjei said in early part of the year that NDC Party have people who will never change their voting pattern no matter what comes. I have come to understand in his comments that if people like Bokor who claim to be literate cannot see right from wrong then what about the multitude of their illiterates. It is sad to have people of that caliber who cannot reason with their God's given brains.

This Bokor always talk about Akuffo Addo's age that if he wins, Nana would be 71 years by then. What is wrong about that age? Governing is not marathon or 100 yards race which needs athletic prowess. All you need is wisdom to hire the best brains irrespective of their political affiliations and task them to set their achievable goals and also help you to honor the pledge you made to the electorates in your campaign time. If you will behave as Mr. Mahama have done so far, then you are definitely going to fail. Mahama with his enviable resume (CV)as MP- for 12years; Deputy Minister; Minister of State; Vice President prior to his ascension to the Presidency, his performance so far is total flaw. I bet you, this Mahama would have been shown the exit if he would have been in Corporate body.

I want Bokor to learn what is going on in Tunisia's Presidential Elections. A round of is going to be held in December 12, as the incumbent - Mr. Moncef Marzouki who is 69 years old had 33.43% whilst his opponent - Mr. Beji Caid Essebsi who is 87years old had 39.46%. Do you think Tunisians do not have politicians among them who are below 60years old but are looking for the aged ones?
