The Adansihene himself is a grand uncle of the oyoko clan. The reason why the oyoko clan was formed was becasue the Adansihene and the ekuoana clan were too weak to fight Denkyeria, therefore they dispersed into the Akim abuakwa areas and Kwahu areas. The Ekuoana that stayed transformed themselves into Oyoko Clan and headed north to present day kokfu, Kwabre Kenyasi, Kumasi. Plus, the oyoko clan defeated the Dormaa, Sanwi, and Denkyeria in battle. The oyoko clan allowed the Adansihene and his royals to resettle in Asante. So Adansiman should be thankful to the oyoko clan via they allowed Adansiman to return to their native lands.

Surely Mr. Adofo Rockson believes he has all the necessary information with regards to the chieftancy dispute/matters as it pertains between the Kumawus and the Asantehene. My question is this - Is he the only person in Kumawu who knows this??? Why is it that the Kumawu people themselves are not crying foul over the wrongdoing as stated by Adofo Rockson. Perhaps he has a stake in the matter. If the facts he is alluding are 100% true, then he should turn his wrath and anger at his own Kumawu people for not doing enough to make things right. Honestly, I am tired of reading Adofo's articles. He is so blinded by hate and anger that sometimes I question his own sanity and sincerity. Adofo maybe you should take a personal stand and go before the king makers in Kumawu and Asante kingdom and lay out your case. Short of this action, I think you are surley outliving your usefulness. We are also Ashantis and sometimes feel ashamed confronting our friends from the other ethnic groups in Ghana when we are discussing chieftancy issues. Indeed, the Asanteman we used to cherish and boast of is no more, to the extent that all embeciles are finding it easy to make derogatory remarks about the Asantehene.
Nana, please seek the proper counsel from your eminent chiefs from Mampong, Juaben, Asumegya, Kokofu, Nsuta, and the rest, so that you can start changing your ways.
Except you feel strongly that associating yourself with President Mahama and his government will reinforce your powers to do as you please, I would advise you to do everything possible to redeem the enormous respect you are about to lose.
