So, let me get this straight: Paul Afoko and Kwabena Agyapong should not be sacked because all that is being said about them is nothing more than an ALLEGATION, but they should be kept in office for ALLEGED reasons?

Yes, Afoko and Agyepong shouldn't be removed from office on a mere allegation of their masterminding the acid-bathing and death of Ahaji Mahama. After all, none of the suspects has mentioned Afoko or Agyepong as accomplices or the brains behind the act. They are as free as I am.

Then, the part of your question on whether they should be kept in office for alleged reasons makes no sense because Afoko and Agyepong are in office at the instance of the thousands of party delegates who put them in office at the delegates' conference last year. They were not put in office on any condition but that they should steer the affairs of the NPP for an electoral victory. What have they failed to do in the performance of their legitimate duties to warrant their being kept in office for "ALLEGED reasons" as you framed it?

And if "junior" Afoko was part of the scheme to kill Mahama, what makes you think his brother was not explicitly or implicitly involved? I know, I know--what I am saying is my surmization; however, where there is smoke there fire.

Secondly, even though Paul Afoko and Kwabena Agyapong were elected through the ballot, nothing precludes them from being removed from office if they're not deemed to be in the interest of the Party. Just Google ELECTED politicians in the United States and see what happens to them if they are involved in alleged behaviors deemed unworthy of their constituencies or Party.

Finally, Bokor is a NDC partisan hack, who wishes the NPP dead. We don't need his advice. Read his write-up closely--they are full of subtexts. He will rather have these two stay in office, with the intent of having this NPP quarrel simmer into the 2016 elections.

To protect and help your bloodly-related family in time of difficulty is among the first law of nature. Now, imagine, if I storm in your house to deal with your mother because she has done something wrong to me outside, surely, you will try to protect your mother against me irrespective of how serious the offend is. This is a normal law of nature.

There is nothing that Agyepong and Afoko are doing which are not in the interest of the party. Just that Akufo Addo sees himself as insecure and duo would work against himself, which has become reality by refusing to invite the two for a crucial meeting.

Everyone has the right to make comments, but you're just wasting your time. Stop it and find something worthwhile to engage yourself in. You're not a smart guy at all, judging by your various write-ups on Ghanaweb. I'm beginning to have the feeling that you're either a paid agent by the NDC or just can't stand Nana being intelligent and so liked by Ghanaian people within and without the NPP. It's not a big surprising though because it's a known fact that the enemy camp is up all the time trying to find ways to cause confusion within the NPP; you could be one of them or a devout agent of the NDC. Rest assured; no matter what you do, Nana is a winner!

According to the writ-up Akufo Addo is the reason for the squabbles within the party for his inability to remove the Alan Kyeremanten's tag on Kwabena Agyepong and Afoko after the delegate congress which led to for they being elected. To remove all the Alan's tags and mentality set on Afoko and Agyepong after the election was not done by Akufo Addo and this is the reason for all the problems. Look at kufuor, he was able to remove any tag and united the partY which led to their victories in 2000 and 2004, why can Akufo Addo do the same by telling everyone, look, I know some voted for Alan and some voted for me but for now we are one as NPP and henceforth such mentality of Alan and Akufo Addo fraction must be buried to ensure victory come 2016? This is a simple unity he couldn't bring on board as a presidential candidate. Does Akufo Akufo even have any managerial ability?

The genesis of the problem confronting the NPP now is the SUSPICION and MISTRUST Akufo-Addo has for messrs Afoko and Agyepong. Long before the NPP conference which elected the aforementioned gentlemen as the National Chairman and General Secretary respectively,they were perceived or branded by Akufo-Addo loyalists as belonging to the Allan Kyeremateng camp.Nobody should therefore deny the fact that from day one of their election, Akufo-Addo saw them as a threat to his ambition to become the President of Ghana.

Again, nobody can deny the fact that there had been several subtle moves behind the scene by Akufo-Addo to get rid of or make messrs Afoko and Agyepong toothless bulldogs in the scheme of things in the NPP. Why was a meeting held by Fredy Blay, a known Akufo-Addo loyalist with Akufo-Addo in attendance during the absence of both the National Chairman and the General Secretary? What was the intend and purpose of that meeting?

Let us all agree to the fact that the root cause of the problems confronting the NPP today are traceable to the doorstep of Akufo-Addo, the Flagbearer of the Party. He has the notion that this is his last chance to bring to fruition his dream of becoming the President of Ghana so any entity he sees as a threat to his dream must be gotten rid of. But he must be pitied as what he is doing would rather bring more cracks into the party leading to another electoral defeat in 2016.

It is history that is about to repeat itself. Those of us who are a bit old, knows it all. The Victor Owusu factions,( PFP) Popular Front Party and that of my grandpa,Paa Willie. It is not a new thing in this UP traditions. That led to the late Limann's winning the elections in 1979. It's been there for a long time. They can not do away with the greed and suspicions between them(Ashante/Akyems) But recent events unfolding in the NPP leaves much to desire. Never in the history of Ghana politics has any single individual and his family members, hijacked a whole political party as their bonafide property. The arrogance and greed, coupled with hunger for power is to blame for this. Had the npp primaries been conducted in a democratic way, Akufo Addo would never have been elected. Members of the npp know this and Ghanaians know as well. If Akufo Addo is a presidential material, he would have been president by now, giving the fact that former president Kufour had done enough for him to win the elections. I have many friends who are npp members, and who voted against this man on both ocassions. I bet you that some of them are very close to him.They are still there with him right now. The only thing that can serve the npp at this time is for Akufo Addo to call it a quit,if he really love this country and the npp. Anything short of that will not work. They have already maliciously accused people who are capable of calming things down in the party.What then is left for them? Akufo Addo is the main problems of the npp, that they have got to deal with, and not Paul Afoko and Kwabena Agyepong, as he is telling his thugs. A president with this character, Ghana will be doomed.I wonder if he would even have time to work, since he is going to spend a good time jailing his percieved enemies.
