Advocate for chalk alone why not add brooms and pens to complete the request.
If I were the second lady I would have asked what the pass rate is at the bece.
Many are hypocrites you send your children to private schools and want to comment on public schools.
Useless headmistress. Plain talk is hard and that is what Ghanaians like ostriches pretend to hate. Kudos. Next time send them hoes not computers.

Ignorance is indeed a disease! I would waste my keys on you this morning. If the government can't provide the basic things as chalk for teachers, you think it can provide scholarships? Small minded people like you deserve flogging. The writer isn't advocating for the provision of chalks but for our 2nd lady learn how to talk. For christsake she's a lady. Even if she sees chalks as unnecessary, she shouldn't have made such a foolish remark. It's even funny to know that in 2015 schools still use blackboards. My dear, you can't just wake up and say any nonsense that comes into your mind after u read an open minded article. Wise up!

why are some people trying to misconstrue the speech of the 2nd lady? i am disappointed at the headmistress for demanding chalk from the 2nd lady as well as registers, it shows clearly that she is not innovative and incharge of the school. my question is does she collect sports fee, exams fee and all those petty fees from the school children? does she know about PTA? MADAM HEADMISTRESS your request was cheap an clearly shows you are not fit to head a school

We bash the head mistress of asking for chalks and books but we have a government that jubilates over the commissioning of bore holes and roads. These are basic needs government has to provide abd should not even be a campaign message. This should clearly inform you that our(Ghana) level of development is low and we should even be asking for markers not chalks. nevertheless, it was a genuin concern raised which should have been addressed more diplomatically. As for those suggesting scholarship schemes, they display ignorance of the matter and common sense. Maslow makes us understand the level of needs. We cant achieve a higher one without taking care of the basics. I have always said that most people in ghana politics need to see Dr.Gyampo of University of Ghana for a course in poiltical ideologies. This is supposed to be a socialist government but a ratger confused as to what they stand for. The president and vice and their Wives need training on communication. MPs do not use their money to buy fuel n yet u expect the head mistress tn teachers to use their money to purchase things our taxes n their taxes should take care of
