Only a deranged mind will assassinate Mahama and martyrize him in the process. For his crimes against the state Mahama is undeserving of any post-humous award on a platter. I'd rather he spends the rest of his life in jail after a competent court has found him guilty of stealing our money, stagnating national development and making every Ghanaian, both the living and the unborn, poorer than they can ever imagine.
We cannot second guess the attempted murderer's motives but the suggestion by no less a person than the GS of the ruling NDC, Mr Asiedu Nketiah, that the NPP is behind the so-called assassination attempt makes reason stare. It's the most stupid conspiracy theory because the NPP has much more to lose and nothing to gain from planning Mahama's assassination. For "General Mosquito" to stoop so low from his elevated status to concoct such cheap and senseless lies should tell every Ghanaian that our much publicized democratic credential is farcical and only a figment of our own stupid imaginations. How in the world does a whole General Secretary of a big political party like the NDC talk like a senseless street hoodlum and still think he can get away with it? This is how far low we've come as a nation. We have retrogressed with the speed of lightning since 2008. Lest we forget,that day was politics day of ignominy in Ghana,the first country in Africa, south of the Sahara, to gain its political independence.
