  That is wonderful piece. Whilst divorce is seen as evil and good, the female partner having an extra marital affair, what would you do? Would you consider the children between you or think about your health and future since the Bible says 'to become one flesh'.

  If divorce is not permitted as is literally read in the bible, then both man and woman is danger and prone to sin. It comes to point in marriage where the two get fed up, a stage where relationship get beyond repairs and peace could only come from each going his/her way. One cannot be tied to death because of somebody's interpretation or adherence to dogma. Real life is different from scriptural quotations. Imagine a woman get married to an impotent man, as scripture does not recommend sex before marriage. what is the sense in the woman staying in this marriage for life. If there is love and understanding, who would want a divorce?
