I find it strange. If this story was true then a very big setback for Ghana's history. Elsewhere the famous and historical Castle would have been a listed building meaning preserved as a national monument for posterity irrespective of the trillions it would have cost. I am urging all readers of this wonderful piece to research on the responsibility and functions of the English Heritage, a society or group in the UK who are consulted and/or informed should any property of historical importance to the UK be sold or demolished. I do not want to see our history wiped away but I do not know about you.
