  With a new register, trust me, NDC know what they will lose. Those thousands of names from Togo and elsewhere will be cleaned and imagine the outcome.
  
  Yesterday, we all heard or read about the revelation from some irate NDC supporters from the Volta Region who have clear evidence that the last election was full of "black holes" that did the bidding for NDC.
  
  Asiedu Nketia and co, are urinating all over the place because they are being chased by their own shadows. They know the number of foreign names they have inserted into the register and a new one means, those name will be eliminated thereby reducing the number of votes they will garner from the Volta Region or elsewhere.
  
  If all the political parties vie for a new register with the exception of NDC, the EC should go for a new one. We have one nation or country and that is Ghana. It will be suicidal for us to set our nation ablaze due to stupid politics then become the laughing stock of the International community.

  Ghana will be somewhat good if we stop setting up huge and useless government. How can we use 70% of our revenue to pay government workers and what about other sectors of the economy? Do we need a rocket scientist to expose this glaring truth to us? What is causing the depletion of our forest? If foreigners are trooping into your nation with nothing being done to stop them, they will eventually redirect your attention. This is not accepted anywhere. We should do whatever to control the influx of foreigners. By the way, what do you say about what some Voltarians are saying about NDC bloating the voters register in your backyard?

  After sleeping over what I wrote previously, I am back to apologise over my stupid and uncouth comment. My mentor has educated me and I now see the wisdom in calling for a new voter register. The cost of rebuilding the country after any civil war, as happened in neighbouring Ivory Coast, would be nothing compared to a sensible loan to get this exercise off the ground. Ghana is more important than any individual or party.

  The article suggests that we should clean the register or get a new one.By the way,NDC accepts in principle that the voters register should be audited but disagrees with the call for a new register.Everybody wants a credible voters register including NDC.The trouble here is that NPP advocated for the Biometric Voting System to be the most credible in 2012.Unfortunately,the Biometric Verification Machines could not function properly at some polling stations on the D day.It prompted the EC to accept voting without the verification machine because of technical problems.This has discredited the credibility of the Biometric Verification System.I hope you remember the electoral petition filed by NPP in the Supreme Court about No Verification No Vote.In short,this has defeated the NPP's call for Biometric System,something NPP insisted that was the only credible method for elections.Today,they have come up again with bloated voters register stories which was done by the Biometric Voters Register machines.That means it has again defeated the NPP's point of credibility.We can only say these machines are not credible and cannot solve any problem for us.Therefore,NPP has no right to call for any new register,we cannot trust their calls any longer with tangible reasons.NDC is right to resist the calls from NPP because just this year,the EC deleted minors and unqualified names from the Biometric Voters register in the Ashanti region.The NDC believes that EC can still clean up the register.I don't see how the EC will bow to the pressure of NPP.This is the essential logic of the debate..Thank you.

  Why won't you loose sleep if you know the insurance money is about to be cut. See, the NDC is behaving like a patient who knowingly swallows two nails and goes for surgery. The doctor in his rush to save his life, took out one nail thinking that was it. After the surgery, the patient was told a nail was found and taken. Even though he knew he had swallowed two, he kept quite because of his dubious intention to collect insurance. On a future follow up, the scanner picked up the second nail which was well hidden and beginning to cause a rapture. When the patient was told he needed a second surgery, he went into a fit. Why? His insurance plan is about to explode right in his face just when the $ sign was getting within his reach. Do you think this guy will go to sleep when all that was left was his signature to collect? Well, Aseidu and his Chairman will explain why they also are having a fit.
