This Minister should not be lynch mobbed out of the post. He is a good Minister because he was a sportsman himself and he understands what is going on. THere are so many corrupt practices all across all of the sports disciplines in Ghana. Shady Presidents of federations doing whatever they like, they abuse their poer and position. The whole sports sector of Ghana sports in all disciplines need a complete overhaul and you need a strong Minister who cannot be bribed or intimidated to take it on. That is why Ghaa has performed so poorly in all sports for many years. When was the last Olympic medal? 1960s or something? And the appalling way Martha Bissah has been treated it just shows how talent is strangled in ghana because the Federation presidents are only interested in complete power, money and lack of transparency and anyone asking questions. I salute the Minister for having the audacity to stand up to the Ghana Football Federation. Yes football is a passion for the country but that is why it should be fought for and protected from abuse of power. Keep going Minister and after you finish with the Football association and set up a structure that is accountable and transparent, please do same with ALL the Federations!

It has to be done. sports is good for cohesion, creating revenue and giving youth discipline and a chance to succeed. with so much talent in ghana it's a shame that it can't be developed because of the corruption of the presidents of federation. they even take bribes from other nations to avoid selection of promising ghanaians to make sure they keep them out of competitions so the rival country can benefit. it happens all the time! They go against the flag and the nation to line their own pockets. GO MINISTER and God be with you. I hope you keep on challenging but watch your back too. They will try to run you out of office if you tread on too many toes so make sure you have your back covered!
