But people in villages are not floating voters. The issues of high cost of water, electricity must be explained to them. Why unemployment has increased in the villages because of lack of farming inputs. High rate of corruption via sole sourcing. NHIS near collapse.

We hope is not AGAIN sitting on radio station, tv stations in suit and speaking big big English and leaving the villages to NDC to keep lying any how to win 2016. But God forbid it.

Other obvious tell-tale signs show that he is not an Ewe. Ewes who don't support Mahama are polished and not viral like that moron.

Now, I am an Ewe (precisely an Anlo), the ethnic group linguists now refer to as the "Gbe people" (I wish they had chosen Gbeviwo though)in recognition of the fact that present Ewe speakers come from several ethnic groups - the original Ewes, Ga-Adangmes, Akans, some autochthonous groups that adopted Ewe language and freed slaves who re-settled along the coast that were assimilated. Now, which of these people do you and your Akan bigots hate? You hate Ewes with Akan origins still using Akan names too, like Elizabeth Ohene?

Apparently, you're one of those ignorant and foolish Akans who think Ewes in Ghana come from Togo, instead of recognising the geographic fact that their homeland was divided by an arbitrary colonial border. Did they also bring the lands on which they are in the VR from Togo? Or your mentally warped, slave raiding ancestors settled them on those lands?

It is such a pity that when one comes to Ghanaweb to read the news, etc., and make the mistake of logging into the comments section, one is greeted with vile ethnocentric remarks and insults from some mentally jaundiced ignorant NPP-supporting Akans. Not much positive from the other side either but their insults are not often ethnocentric, and if it's, it's in response to you NPP worthless elements; as I am doing now, and justly.

And you are obviously a superstitious idiot to boot. I am an Ewe but I don't believe in juju. In fact, I don't even believe that a deity created humans and this universe even. Those are ancient myths of how the universe came about still pandered around by people whose cosmology is at the primitive level.

And finally, enrol in a remedial English course. The correct spelling is "great", so "great friends". Grate is used as in grinding pepper, etc.

Now, when the ancestors of some us were sitting at the table to form the Gold Coast colony, and then sat in the LegCo to create the model colony it became, what were your ancestors doing?

If this perception I have of Ghanaweb is representative of Ghana, which I think may be the case to a certain, then our dear country is in a serious crisis. No wonder we are stuck, not moving forward or backward.

What has this article got to do with ethnocentrism, anyway? What has the article got to do with Ewes and Akans. I don't get this.

It is the bloody-minded ignorance of the culprits that make them to make those ethnocentric remarks. That's I always try to fill them in with some tit-bits of knowledge but I'd require a major effort and addition in the school curriculum to address the problem from its roots.
