Your choice of words is sufficiently bad; the coordination is woefully poor, tactically incoherent, bad transitions and, above all, lack focus. For instance, what do you mean by this Kwame Nkrumah`s Gold Coast English:" Since when did Jesus’ life asymptotically approach the existential infinity of mortal longevity?'Do you know your audience at all?   With that said, I will not respond to the other concerns you raised because if you cannot understand the one sentence you quoted, why should I even try to explain anything else to you.
  
  Clearly you are light years behind the writers of Timbuctu. Remember they did not write in English. They wrote in native African languages and Arabic. Many people don't know this, the African language. Try and watch Henry Louis Gates, Jr.'s 1990s series WONDERS OF THE AFRICAN WORLD (and the book accompanying the series). When you are done, let me know and I will give more academic texts on the subject matter.
  
  In fact, those writings people associate with Arabic were/are merely borrowed Arabic scripts grafted onto ancient African languages. I don't have the time to go into the scientific and evolutionary history of human language.
  
  I get the import of your trope nonetheless. You should read those who tailor their writings to your taste.

  You will be surprised when I give you a "little" lecture on the stiff conditions under which I write. But I will not go there.
  
  Anyway the word is ASYMPTOTE (one S) not ASSYMPTOTE (two S's). The problem is that you will not get a dictionary to give you its meaning if you look it up with the two S's.
  
  Besides, I used the adverb version of it: ASYMPTOTICALLY? Thus ASSYMPTOTICALLY will lead you nowhere in terms of dictionary meaning.
  
  Don't you have an online or manual-book dictionary? Typing ASSYMPTOTE into a computer will surely give you or point you to a correct spelling of the word (ASYMPTOTE) and its meaning if you wanted to learn anything!
  
  Clearly you did not bother looking for its meaning, and even if you did, you may not have looked for a word that is simply not in existence. On the other hand it is also possible that I am wrong. Perhaps the word ASSYMPTOTE exists and my dictionaries are simply not good. Tell me if your dictionary/dictionaries have an entry for ASSYMPTOTE!
  
  Finally, you are saying my "Trokoi friends" don't understand your ASSYMPTOTE (remember mine is ASYMPTOTE)? Are you one of my "Trokosi friends" then even if I should make your ASSYMPTOTE mine?
  
  What is "Trokosi" anyway? Now I am not even a Trokosi with a borrowed Akan name, right? Let me assure you that, Ekow or Anokye, as far as I am concerned, readers like Andy know what a simple word like "ASYMPTOTE" means.
  The issue you raise is a trivial one. Let us therefore deal with the contents of the article rather than with emotional trivialities.

The word asymptote is severally used in sciences, especially in Mathematical science, and no ordinary person would understand the way you foolishly used it in your disjointed written piece of trash. Read yourself again and see whether you make sense: "Since when did Jesus’ life asymptotically approach the existential infinity of mortal longevity? The phrase, as it stands, is hopelessly wrong, both grammatically and contextually. I'm told you are a mathematician but I'm afraid you did not take that course serious. Because no mathematician, who worth his integrity, and appreciate principles, would write like this. My grandfather would call you 'taaboo'! My Fantse brothers understand this. Ghana is going to the pools and we expect people to use their heads, not their hearts, to make wise decisions. NDC has looted a lot and are looting still.   Now, you see how you are contradicting yourself. Again, the word ASSYMPTOTE does not exist. Only ASYMPTOTE (with one S exists)! Then again there is nothing like this: "GHANA IS GOING TO THE POOLS..." It is POLLS. You will not be writing ASSYMPTOTE (rather than aSymptote) and POOLS (rather than poLLs) if you were trained to write!
  
  You see, your anger is getting the better of you! This is why I overlook typos when I read others’ pieces! But I am not sure if yours are typos or not! As someone trained in the sciences you should not have misspelt a word you claim to be “severally”….whatever that means! Anyway we all make mistakes.
  
  For your information, the word ASYMPOTOTE is also commonly used in literature (prose/poetry). I guess you know or have heard about QUANTUM FICTION, an interesting literary genre (and QUANTUM POETRY). I guess you have also heard about literary science!
  
  If you had cared to read my articles carefully and critically, you would have come across the literary genre called QUANTUM FICTION (There is also what is called QUANTUM POETRY). Try and lay your hands on literary works by Wilson Harris, Susan Strehle, Andrew Jefferson–Mile, Paul Halpern, Alexis Blanchet, Victoria Carpenter, Jorge Carrión, Serpil Oppermann, English Professor Samuel Coale (Wheaton College, MA), ...
  
  Also read the literary scholarships of Steven Connor (Grace 2 Professor of English in the University of Cambridge and Fellow of Peterhouse, Cambridge)...Look for and read Ali Khodamoradi's paper "The Quantum Theory of Observation in Modern Literary Theory and Literature: An Analysis of Pre-/Post-words Language in Creative Literary Works" (The International Journal of Literary Humanities)...and I am glad, brother, you will understand something you have no clue about, and be possibly be informed as well.
  
  Also, ead the works of Wole Soyinka to see how he uses such words/ideas from mathematics/the natural sciences in his prose and poetry, sometimes just like the way I use them in my articles.
  
  So, you think every reader is just like you, what you call "NO ORDINARY PERSON." I don’t write for the likes of you!
  
  Finally, I have non-science readers here on Ghanaweb who will perfectly understand the word the way I used it (One of them is a retired professor of literature, English, English/French translator, poet and writer. He/she used to teach at one of California's universities).
  
  The word "severally," what do you mean? Do you mean separately, respectively, or singly (or “special,” “unique”)? If this were what you meant, then, my poor brother, you are lost because "asymptote" and its derivatives are commonly used in QUANTUM FICTION/QUANTUN POETRY/ENGLISH PHILOLOGY, too. If you are someone who reads widely, you would know “asymptote” and “asymptotically” are commonly used in the non-sciences!
  
  So your “severally” does not apply here. It applies only in your limited view of literature. Now the Swedish Academy has extended the meaning of literature to include “lyric poetry” (or the lyrics included in a “music sheet”). What is more, there are others too who have no idea that the word “severally” takes on radically different meanings from “several.”
  
  I don’t know which of them you meant to say since “asymptote” and “asymptotically” are commonly used in QUANTUM FICTION/QUANTUM POETRY. In other words, they are not unique in these literary genres!
  
  And when you say "sciences," what do you mean? Do you mean the social science or the natural sciences?
  
  And Okoampa will not take it likely the way you spelled his name, OKUAMPAH. Besides, I am not Dr. Bokor. Neither am I SAS nor your clueless Okuampah." When I start publishing the grammatical errors/bad sentence constructions (and there are PLENTY of them) in the works (NOT HIS GHANAWEB ARTICLES WHICH ARE WORSE IN TERMS OF GRAMMAR AND SENTENCE CONSTRUCTIONS) of Okoampa by a world-famous literary critic/linguist/comparative literature expert friend of mine, then you will understand.
  
  Now go ahead and read Dr. Bokor (and SAS and Okuampah) and leave my articles alone. You are not one of my target audience members.
  
  And, lest I forget, are there not "Trokosi 'brothrens'" in the NPP and all the other parties, too?
  
  Final Thoughts: If you knew about the large body of works covering the worlds of QUANTUM FICTION/QUANTUM POETRY, you would not be making the ignorant comments you have been making here.
  
  You see, "no ordinary person would understand the way you foolishly used it" because readers like you have no idea what QUANTUM FICTION/QUANTUM POETRY are all about. In that sense such words and their usage are not unique or limited to the sciences/mathematical sciences. They are commonly used in literature as well, just like the way I used it here in this article.

  The subject here is "ignorance" not "you" or "your" (Yes, I merely left out the letter R at the tapering end of YOU). One good thing about critical reading is when readers are able to put one and two together and come up with something grammatically logical.
  If I were the one reading “YOU IGNORANCE KNOWS NO BOUNDS,” I would certainly know there is something amiss. Besides, “YOUR IGNORANCE KNOWS NO BOUNDS” is a trite statement. People use it all the time. I guess why you did not fall back on this universal knowledge of trite statements such as this!
  
  Even with R left out at the end of YOU, the fact still remains that “ignorance” is the subject and it should go with a singular verb, “KNOWS.” There is no point using a plural verb for “YOU” as it is not the subject! Can I say “YOUR FOOD ARE TASTY”?
  
  Does "YOU ignorance knows no bounds" make sense to you? Now I know your level. I think I should stop going back and forth with you!
  
  Even the way you write "subject verb agreement" is technically wrong. It should be either SUBJECT/VERB AGREEMENT OR SUBJECT-VERB AGREEMENT. There should be something always between SUBJECT and VERB!
  
  The other word is "hiDing" not "hiDDing." And I am not HIDDING in New York. I don't live in New York. As a person trained in writing you cannot tell HIDDING (2 D's) from HIDING (1 D). Anyway we all make typos!
  
  Now I know why you did not understand the way I used ASYMPTOTE. Read all the references, get informed and come back so that we can continue the discussion.

  In any case the writers of Timbuctu were very sophisticated/great (writers). Have you read any of their prose and poetry in English yet? I bet you have not!
  
  Translations of the ancient libraries of Timbuctu are ongoing in Mali (other parts of Africa), America, Europe, the Arabic world, and so on.
  
  Thus far researchers, academics, historians, etc., from around the world are impressed by what the few translated works reveal about the beauty of language and of the human mind among others.
  
  You shall be informed about some of these ideas in due course.
