  We never learn. The difference between the White man and we Africans is that they grow, learn, evolve while we seems to be stagnated. Since when did we embark on this stupid and irresponsible journey of "open defecation" and still nothing tells us to put a stop it or, find a way to copy what the Europeans have done when it comes to toileting.
  
  In the US, there is nothing like a manhole and I have been thinking about where all their toilet goes when flashed. These innovations are some of the things our so-called leaders should learn and put in practice. It can be done on pilot basis then spread across the entire nation. This will take time but we have to start from somewhere.
  
  I remember Busia saying that he was going to build our sewage/drainage system. The people of Accra went bonkers accusing Busia of orchestrating a scheme to redirect the sea to Kumasi. That is the thinking of a backward people who never open their sense of thinking to accommodate something new. To such creatures, evolution is a curse word.
  
  We will live with such despicable and irresponsible attitude for the next hundred years till a bold leader emerges and put a halt to that nonsense.

  We have to be honest and accept the fact that we are not the same as WHITEMEN.The brains of black people need to be investigated with thorough and in-depth research.There is overwhelming evidence all over BLACK AFRICA that the BLACKMAN is irresponsible,reckless,greedy,sel-centered and visionless..In fact,the BLACKMAN does not even appreciate innovation and creativity.It is unthinkable how the BLACKMAN can excel and beat WHITEMEN even in the most difficult examinations,and yet cannot manage his own affairs.Was Kwame Nkrumah right in his post-indepencence statement that the BLACKMAN is "capable of managing his own affairs.Nkrumah is turning in his grave.God,save my people !

  It's really serious. I sometimes wonder how people build houses without even a pit for defecation. Toilets are a basic need, not a luxury. We really don't need the government to do everything for us.
