  I don't have problem with the Police and the Army vow to be ruthless. And I don't think decent, law-abiding people will have problem with this. Political thuggery and violence is a serious threat to our democracy, peace and security.
  
  I think it's necessary for the Police and the Army to come down very hard on perpetrators of election violence, chaos and lawlessness.

  Your 'take' on what the CDS and other security chiefs said about their readiness to clamp down hard on thugs during the elections is ludicrous to say the least. Warning potential trouble makers in the strongest possible rhetoric is what those people understand. And they should be told in plain language. If you don't like what and how they said it, it's your problem, Sampson. Politicians and their die hard supporters have taken regular Ghanaians for granted. And people like you who think you are champions of the rule of law are indirectly liable for political violence.
  Allow the security agencies to do their work and concentrate on winning cases in court if you can. People should be law abiding. Simple! Even in America the police come down hard on peaceful protesters -occupy wall street is one example where security agencies in New York didn't take the protests kindly. Leave our Security Agencies alone!

How dare this ignoramus say that the CDS and IGP are being too hard in their comments warning would-be trouble makers to stay clear of any diabolical acts? Samson Lardi Ayenini must be full of himself. It's not his fault: it's because he has been given the platform of Multimedia (Joy FM and TV) to push manipulate the public by pushing opposition agenda through what would otherwise have been a very good program. Please just limit your nonsense to News File and leave our revered security capos to do their work. They are more aware of the tragedy of Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Cote d'Ivoire etc than you you. It is the behaviour of people like you that led to the mayhem and deaths that were witnessed in those countries. You better make a good assessment of yourself because you are fast loosing the respect and admiration most of us had for you. Your bias, pomposity and arrogance are becoming too clear and irritating. This finds expression in his overbearing interventions on News File always distorting the flow of panalist during the limited time they are given. He seems to think all there is to life is Law. But do you blame him? Our society celebrates the joke and the verbose but not deep content so we should braze ourselves for more of these cheese.
