In the 2012 the elections were declared and the challenges were later resolved in court. What is different this time around?. The conduct of the NDC shows great disappointment which is reflected in the conduct of the EC. What difference does one vote at a polling station make?. The mentality shown is leading Ghana into chaos. Any statistician (I am one. I have PhD in statistics) knows that all that we seek to do is to capture uncertainty. Our tools are not foolproof. All our statements are couched in probabilities. If even there is a one percent chance that our predictions do not come through, it is a very important one percent. With Mr. Ephson, God will have to tell him he is wrong before he will believe. I think there we will leave him to God.

I believe that either you are trying to deceive Ghanaians with these comparisons or you are totally naive of how the two electoral systems work ,though you claim your self to be an accomplished pollster. Listen to me dude and l will take this opportunity to let Ghanaians who don't know the difference know it today. In Ghana we practice the popular vote system which means that a president is elected due to the number of votes he gains, it doesn't matter from which constituency the vote will come from. For instance a candidate can record like only a1000 votes in let's say whole of Brong-Ahafo but can still win the election due to the number of votes he get from the other regions. So Hillary Clinton as of today leads Trump with more than 2.5 million votes but still lost the election because She couldn't get 270 electoral college votes, but if it were Ghana per our system Hillary Clinton would be the president elect today. The electoral college system gives fair representation to the small and lowly populated America states because each state is allotted a specific amount of electoral college representatives so even a candidate gained only one vote more than his opponent he still carries all representation for that state, his opponent who gets only 1 vote less loses his entire votes. So Donald was very strategic he made sure to capture all the swing states,so at end Hillary won the biggest state but she couldn't garner enough electoral college votes to propell her to victory. So pollsters in the US were spot on with their predictions that Hillary led in the individual headcount but they failed with the electoral college predictions.Please Ghanaians don't let this subtil Ephson convince you with his phony excuse.
