While I personally don't think he can accomplish all the promises made, I hope he makes the effort to make things a bit bearable for the ordinary Ghanaian.
8 years of economic torture and hunger under NDC has put the Ghanaian voter on the alert. Now the voter knows there's a lot of power behind each vote and I have a feeling the incoming president is smart enough to know that.... unlike someone we know who learned it the hard way.

No coup can give you what you wish for. Ask those who cheered Kotoka, Afrifa, Acheampong, Akuffo and Rawlings. They were all disappointed because coup-makers cannot run governments that implement the sort of projects the electorate wants.

So don't be such an ass. Engage in political discourse with like-minded people, within a registered and legal political party, and trty to suggest ideas which, if implemented, will better the lot of your fellow countrymen and women. Your mindset at the moment is that of a complete ass. But you can change it, for in a democracy, no-one will throw you into the jail where you bekong to.

I will continue to state on this platform that, some of us are aware the despicable and irresponsible way that party duped the country Ghana, during Kuffuor's era. It's a fact that big big monies were given to not only their cronies but majority of their following members, secarted all over Europe including here in Britain. That was getting to the time Kuffuor's eight (8) years was coming to the end, and was very sure that npp will win that election. They have assured beneficiaries that, there was no cause for alarm since the party was going to rule for another 8 years under Akuffo Addo and for that matter, that money given to individuals, could be paid in bits. When they couldn't win, but NDC won, between the time Kuffour was going to hand over to the new government, they quashed or destroyed any evidence of papers covering the money given to individuals. And up till now those who benefited are walking free. Some had made extra money out of that and are rich now. The most annoying aspect of it, is the same people who have insulted the humble president in the person of HE.JM who had put the country first to make our dear Ghana one of the best country if not the first in west africa. You have criminalized him and his government and had promised heaven to come down to Ghana, so Akuffo Addo & Bawumiah dare not to mess up with the silent majority of Ghanians. #TAkE NOTE. Is not every Ashanti who think Ghana should be own by only Ashantis, not at all.
