No doubt, men and women are equal in value and dignity. But they are not equal in physique, biology, personality and emotions. There are many things that are vastly different among the two sexes. Biologically, in almost all cases, the opposite sex attracts the other but men are mostly enticed by excessively exposed parts of the female anatomy. That's a known fact from biology, anthropology, history, sociology etc. In an ideal world, men are not to allow their natural instincts to dictate to them; rather, they must allow reason or rational thinking and good conscience to control them. But, we do not yet have such a world. What we have is broken and evil with so many men and women acting on their natural instincts just like our so-called "distant cousins" in the jungle. When you have such a situation, the honorable minister's admonishment becomes the best form of "treatment" to prevent criminal behavior such as rape. Denying that will mean you are actually living in the "land of Nod". I say to you, wake up and smell the coffee!

Indecent dressing on the part of some young ladies is one of the causes of rape whether you know or understand it or not. The minister did not say its the SOLE CAUSE of rape did she? You've also touched on some of the causes of the problem AND THE MINISTER'S CONCERN OF INDECENT DRESSING IS ONE OF THE CAUSES AS WELL abi? OR IN YOUR WORLD THERE'S NOTHING LIKE INDECENT DRESSING? Next time lead a team to conduct research on the problem and find out what percentage of the causes will be attributed to indecent dressing before coming up with such emotional 'buga buga' attacks on people in authority.

You're screaming for help. It will be easier for your attacker to finish you before help comes. Pitch that against someone wearing trousers with a belt. She may just be lucky as it will take a longer time for that rapist to undress her. As for the provocative attire part, whether we like it or not, its true that some clothes are more provocative than others and will attract a lot more men. But woman, pray none of those men that get attracted is insane. Please let's not take the Minister's comment out of context. It's the same as leading a guy on to the point of undressing and allowing him to begin the act and then deciding that you're no longer interested. Hello?? Can the ladies be a little more responsible? Can we try to make life a little more difficult for that lunatic who is waiting for the perfect opportunity to attack some innocent girl? The law is always on the woman's side but the incident may still be prevented with a little more circumspection on our part.
