  Most of the NHIS offices are not opened for business. They have posted telephone numbers there asking whoever coming for services to call. When you call too, no one picks. If you are lucky enough and someone picks after several calls, they only tell you materials are still on in. Save the NHIS Now, Mr President. Thank you.

  When we complained that NHIS is dying, some NDC fanatics who are stomach politicians and knew the truth lied to the gullible Ghanaians that it was not true. Why, they wanted to see all as rosy to the president.

  When we complained that NHIS is dying, some NDC fanatics who are stomach politicians and knew the truth lied to the gullible Ghanaians that it was not true. Why, they wanted to see all as rosy to the president.
  I blame mills and Mahama for this failure. How can there be only one time payment for a poor country like Ghana? There should be an annual payment or co payment at visits to sustain the program. On the other hand, patients could be seen by Doctors and write prescription from pharmacies of their choices. This will lesson the medical burden from the government and sustain the NHIS. It will also reduce corruption to the barest minimum. Until these measures are implemented, let us consider NHIS dead, Thanks to Mills and Mahama.
