Some ministers in Ghana lack vision. Their speeches are full of recycled talking points, but when it comes to actual solutions, there is little to show. A true leader doesn’t just list challenges — he clears policy papers, backs them with clear timelines, and enforces them.

Take the case of traditional medicine. Everyone agrees it is a critical supplement to our healthcare system. But for over 50 years, the same issues have been raised: regulation, integration into hospitals, quality control, research support, and global recognition. Ministers come and go, repeating the same lines.

The question is: what is this current minister doing himself to address the very challenges he keeps mentioning? Has he presented a concrete policy paper? Has he laid out a roadmap for integrating traditional medicine into mainstream healthcare? Has he secured funding for research or infrastructure? Or is he simply recycling old speeches?

Ghana cannot afford ministers who live on rhetoric. We need practical leadership that translates talk into policies and policies into results. Otherwise, the same problems we’ve been “talking about” for half a century will still be with us in another 50 years.

At this point in Ghana , many fake one man pastors are selling all sorts of medications in the church and no one seems to care.This should be your first call. Recently , a guy from Italy came to buy containers of sobolo back to Italy . He was told by this fake pastor his destiny is in the sobolo .This Italian boy took the sobolo like water .Eventually , the guy died . The minister should look at this area as a matter of urgency . I wish Sam George is the health minister . He would have closed all those selling all kinds of things in the church .
