The article is just a theory.
We want the farmers to teach us pratically what to do in this case.
Most of the snakes are in the bush where there is no ambulance or proffesional help.
Better learn a few herbal remedies for snake bites, many die before getting to any hospital.

Yes herbal treatment is the immediate option for snake bites. The "nearby" health facilities may not even have the anti-snake venom to treat you. Learn some herbal treatments for snake bites today.
