Could it have been an error? The name is mentioned just once in the article so one can't be very sure. Moreover, it is understood Nigeriens in Ghana aren't known to engage in malfeasance the same way as Nigerians do.

The Nigeriens selling these concoctions and other illicit drugs carry them on their heads and roam about. They don't have FDA permits and they don't pay any taxes. Why do we continue to form queues every 4 years to choose people who only engage in unnecessary arguments whilst aliens come into our country to do whatever they like. Instead of killing us with guns these people have found a subtle means of killing Ghanaians.
