Who doesn't know that the situation at Korle Bu is real. A past leader came with the idea that there is too much pressure on some of our "Premier Hospitals" like Korle Bu, Gee etc so, he came up with an idea of constructing 111 hospitals in all the districts to lessen the pressure on Korle Bu etc, Ghanaians pissed on that and voted against that idea so, who is suffering?

Politically convenient and entitled pedestrian hogwash such as you have spewed above is a primary reason Ghana makes little progress. The NPP had 8 years to totally transform Ghana. They spent it destroying every foundational pillar of our society and declaring war on the citizenry, denying them of every strand of dignity and progress.

Then they came up with a final coupe de grace, the monumental middle finger to our sensibilities called agenda 111 in the very dusk of their reign. Not one is operational as we speak.

Thankfully we have a responsible Government that is anwerable to the people who have made it a policy priority to begin and to complete all projects both audio/imaginary and those which were mere PR stunts and were never meant to be built.

In other jurisdictions the architects of this heinous crime against a whole nation would be in jail indefinitely or line up at the firing range for their day in the sun.

We must effectively bring to an end every conspiracy and silence every voice that attempts to glorify the horror of Akufo Addo's 8 years and quickly neutralize its catatonic effects on the Ghanaian psyche. We deserve far, far better.

Our health care delivery system needs a revolution to keep up with healthcare in other countries.
Ghana used to have one of the best trained doctors during the pre GCE A level era where students who happened to be admitted to our universities do medicine come out with a wealth of knowledge and experience better than those with this present age SS education. More over our doctors who had post graduate training in foreign countries showed more dedication to the country by returning home to contribute their quota to the health care delivery system while those of our president generation refuse to return home after their training abroad. Ghana needs to educate more doctors because the ratio of doctors to patients is unattainable and this equally applies to our nurses. Unfortunately Ghana still has unemployed nurses in the country who could have been employed to ease the workload on these nurses . The country is lacking many technological advances and medical equipment that are vital for healthcare delivery with patients unable to access or afford these services while our government officials seek medical care abroad while the majority of Ghanaians are deprived of such services. Our government must invest in healthcare by building many hospitals and clinics all over the country with the provision of adequate beds and other facilities so that Ghanaians from every walk of life can access medical care . The government must also improve its health insurance system so that the poor can also access healthcare services. Provisions must be made to offer real living wages and benefits to those working in the healthcare sector to make that sector competitive and attractive to the workforce.
