The so-called/presumed lab doctors claim they are aggrieved, not by the actions of the sector minister, but by decisions made by their trade union management. Even if the union managers made decisions based on undue pressure from the sector minister, the strike-anticipation lab doctors can logically have a "beef" with their trades union leaders.

How you, Kwame Peter, can blame the NDC for a dispute between managers are rank and file union members is a mistery only NPP card carrying member or foot soldier can tell.

Under the present conditions in our hospitals, patients are still dying and Ghana cannot afford to lose more patients with this looming strike by doctors. The Hipocratic Oath must be practiced by all doctors. Hospitals are supposed to provide a twenty four hour service and if more staffing is needed, the government must employ more staff . All lab results must be reviewed by specialists and doctors in a timely fashion to guide doctors in further interventions for patients.

Listening to joy news I believe it is the need to digitalize the lab operations as is in UGMC and other new private hospitals..Korle HR should have been beefing up the medical services facilities with sonigraphers som 6 years ago.
