Maybe u rather didn't comprehend wat u read,he said the president had told the CEO and health officials not to ever close any emergency units irrespective of whatever happens(and that included when the place gets full).And maybe u dont know and understand the implications of the closure of an emergency unit,so u wouldn't understand wat the minister is saying,a white doctor will never close an emergency unit for people to lose their lives,he will rather evacuate and clear the hospitals kitchen to admit and keep more emergency patient's there until an expansion or a new place is built. But a black man will shut it down just to make his point for many innocent people to die and he wouldn't care.

Are you aware that the health outcomes of a severely overcrowded emergency room are bad? Who should take care of the never ending emergency cases. Are doctors and nurses magicians with 20 arms and feet. Don’t be ignorant.
Instead of them to address the root cause of turning people away, they prefer to scapegoat doctors and healthcare managers. If I were them I will go on strike! Let’s see who they will meet in the emergency room.

Even if it's true the emergency centre can no longer admit patients for whatever reason, the CEO has no authority to close it down just like that.

The truth is, a lot of these CEOs are megalomaniacs and need to be checked.

Now, the minister has come to clarify things and still, some stupid people in the comments section are still putting their stupidity on full display.

Okay, so if the CEO acted within his authority, why did he apologise? I would never have if I knew my actions were backed by law or regulations.
