Only a tip of that iceberg! Medical negligence ha become a way of life in Ghana because of the prohibitive cost of litigation and the institutional corruption in our legal system!
There is too much carelessness in our health care system hence the raise in medical lawsuits. I personally think the lawsuits are a positive development to bring sanity and professionalism into the health care sector.
You both have said it all.
The health care workers go free,it's rather the government who bears the cost so how can this carelessness stop.
If you don't sanction such medical personal by sometime withdrawing their license this is what is gonna happen, their union will not educate their members but all you hear is strike over money! We are just not a serious count ...

Soon to hit 1 billion dollars. Health workers have become bloodthirsty and care less about human life. They condemned many to the Morgue with little conscience. Our hospitals have become death grounds for many.
Instead wasting you lawyers time, why dont you talk to your nurses and doctors to do the right thing ?
