  If this DG had a system in place for monitoring equipment use and redundancies, he wouldn't implement such a far reaching policy through public announcement. Besides such a policy is rotational and not episodic and therefore requires constant monitoring and adjustment, because what may not be needed to day at one place may become relevant tomorrow. But what is more is that the removal and relocation of sensitive equipment is no simple matter to handle so lightly, it involves huge reinstallation costs and carries with it a high risk of damage occurrence. So Mr DG think again about this. It is better to do a proper needs assessment at inception of each hospital location to avoid adhoc decisions like this. You may think you are being smart, but sadly that is not the case here full stop.

  Is the GHS not responsible for distributing these equipment to the hospitals? How can you not have right personnel to manage X Ray machines and yet send the equipment there?
