  What Ghana needs is a second quaternary hospital in the Ashanti region to serve the middle belt and later build a third one to serve the northern belt. An arrangement similar to the UGMC's should be tabled in parliament to begin the process (a partnership between KNUST and the government, with KNUST bearing about 60-70% of the total cost so the facility can be managed and operated by KNUST and not the useless government).
