Was the study double-blinded and placebo-controlled? What were the side effects, if any? How was efficacy determined? What was the power of the statistical test used to draw the conclusion that the drug works? Could we kindly see all these data published?

Please allow me to affirm that I am not engaging in the so called "pull him down, or PHD". I am genuinely interested in knowing more about this study, and being comfortable in the scientific validity of the conclusions drawn.

The drug Hepta 3 has actually been analysed by the faculty of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences of KNUST Kumasi, Ghana where it was found to be safe. It was also found to have immense immunostimulatory properties that led the analysers to conclude that it could be helpful in immuno-compromised situations such as Hepatitis B and typhoid fever infections.In vitro tests subsequently carried on by the above institution on Salmenela Typhi showed it has activity on the organism at 1%w/v. These are facts that can be verified at the said faculty of the said University. The problem with the FDA was a case of incomplete registration, which is a breach of The Public Health Act. It is unfortunate that a breach of this Act is deemed by the FDA to render a drug fake even when it has undergone and passed safety and efficacy tests at reputable institutions.
