The issue of smoking in public should have been implemented by now to prevent further lost of lifes. I hope that, the neccessery Athority would look at it and implement it.

When you ban certain things,it should be enforced in the north as well because it looks like they are not part of the country.As at now people smoke publicly as if smoking has just been made legal.Also commercial buses 'trotr ... read full comment

I saw a man being harassed by some people for smoking at the bus stop saying it was a public area. We have to make sure that in protecting non smokers from passive smoking, we do not infringe on the rights of smokers. A public place i understand is an enclosed area like the cinema, theatres, enclosed restaurants, buses and public houses like the supermarkets. They do not include open spaces like parks and bus stops where the smoke is not confined so please educate the public about the difference.
