Your Analysis of Breakfast is very brilliant but I can figure out that you reside in Ghana and don't know the reality of some countries. You said the ideal position is to retire to bed after 4 hour of Supper. Image someone who start work at 07.00, have to leave home at 05.30 to travel for work and finish at 20.00 and get home at 21.30. How can such person rest for 4 hours after dinner which might be around 22.30, and then retire to bed at 02.30 after resting for 4 hours when he has to wake up around 04.30 to prepare for work the following day. Even most average income person in developed countries go through this routine. However, they may have some days off like 3 days. Thus strictly adherence to this regime for most people will only happen in Ghana.

The Diastolic is very important.
BP readings are usually presented as Systolic/Diastolic. (that is, Systolic is numerator and Diastolic the denominator). A typical normal value for a 40-year old would be: 125/80.

(Systolic tends to go up with age).
Diastolic should NOT be greater than 80. In fact, when it approaches 100, you could well be attaining risk for stroke!

Breakfast is indeed the most important meal of the day. When one eats breakfast, he or she is mentally alert for most part of the day. You do not have to over eat at lunch or dinner because of an empty stomach.

Dear Kwabena,
I would normally not respond to most posts but you actually got it right when you stated that the "ideal" unfortunately not many of us get to do that. That is why some people may choose to eat before going home, others may take a walk after dinner and the majority may doze off right after meals; it varies from individual to individual.
Remember that Ghana like many other developing countries has changed markedly and people also leave home even earlier than 4.30am that you refer to and return home after 10pm.
