  What an unbelievable situation. This is 2013 and the Deputy Hospital Administrator is not ashamed to claim, "the shortage problem happens every year" but, he is drawing his salary at the end of the month. Next time he will threaten to go on STRIKE for more money. You wander why Ghana is not advancing. Big post, incompetent work.

  This is how you measure the performance of Ghanaian politicians. After years of neglect this is what should be expected. People needlessly die from lack of social and economic infrastructure, which should be provided by government(or through public-private partnership schemes). Politicians form companies to steal from the state without doing any work. Consider the judgement debt situation. Politicians want to be paid more, but they are not performing. This is why every right thinking Ghanaian should condemn contracting loans either for planting trees or 'akomf3m' on a free range. How many times has government undertaken maintenance works on water infrastructure? Since when did government make fresh investment in the provision of water? The same is true for the roads. Many people are dying because of excessive use of the roads, which in many places are not maintained.
