  The NHIS has its peculiar difficulties but, I agree with you that it is not collapsing. We must do everything we can to support and strengthen it. It is the best thing that happened to healthcare in Ghana in the last decade.

  The NHIS must be properly streamlined to work along the lines of the one we have in the UK, it will generate enough revenue/funds to build better hospitals, provide modern equipment, funds for training our dedicated doctors abroad. W must make sure that it is not misused by greedy and corrupt officials in positions of trust. Ghana deserves better.
