  Mr Fodjuour, how do you know the benefits that pure cocoa offer? You need to provide us evidence from scientific journals to support your claim otherwise I take your claim as the words of a marketer.

  The exaggerated benefits of dark chocolate, which Amponsah Fodjour trumpeted in a self-seeking corporate fashion and out of the holistic context of health care principles, has nothing to do with some difficiency in the African race. It is rather pathological for you to postulate such a racial deficiency!

  What Amponsah Fodjour is saying is nothing new.Cocoa contains a lot of anti-oxidants and that is what promotes health.Cocoa Processing Company at Tema is in a better position to educate the public on the health benefits of the natural cocoa powder than any other institution in Ghana.Dr Kwame Nkrumah of blessed memory sought diligently to inculcate the habit of Ghanaians taking cocoa as beverage everyday at home and during workshops/conferences but we as a people in authority prefer coffee/tea break perhaps as a hangover of colonial mentality.The end result is what we are witnessing today ; producing almost a million tones of cocoa beans and processing less than 20%
