  Abortion is killing a human being. At conception, when the sperm and egg unite, it is no longer just part of a woman's body.
  
  Oral contraceptives are unsafe. In 2005 the World Health Organization (WHO) classified birth control pills as a Group 1 Carcinogen (the highest-risk category of carcinogens). WHO’s statement corroborated the (American)National Cancer Institute’s (NCI) findings in 2003, which noted a “significant increase” of the risk of breast cancer and an increased risk of cervical and liver cancers among oral contraceptive users. The September 28, 2010 edition of Scientific American published an article by Craig H. Kinsley, a neuroscience professor, and Elizabeth A. Meyer, a post-doctoral fellow and instructor, titled “Women’s Brains on Steroids.” Drawing from a study in the journal Brain Research, the authors described how contraceptives alter the structure of women’s brains. There can be behavioral changes such as irascibility and wild mood swings.

  Studies have shown that contraceptive use actually leads to more premarital sex and more contraceptive failures and more abortions... And, yes, it's the women who suffer. There is no such thing as a free birth control handout or sex without consequences. Condoms are NOT effective against HPV or herpes (although they do protect against HIV/AIDS). Oral contraceptives actually increase a woman's risk of contracting HIV (has something to do with the action of the hormones). Search the net and learn the truth.

  Oral Contraceptives hurt women. Why is breast cancer taking such a heavy toll and increasing each year in Ghanaian women under 50? Because of the increased use of oral contraceptives and also increased abortions. Both of these increase the risk of future breast cancer. An abortion, especially an abortion of a first pregnancy will also make more likely future low birth weight babies and miscarriages when the woman does want to conceive. That's why it's worth respecting the law of God and refraining from pre-marital sex, and, if there is an unintended pregnancy, consider placing for adoption rather than risking a woman's future physical and mental health.

  My wife is a spiritualist, and the revelation she had about abortion is scary! I wish I could get an opportunity to tell young girls the spiritual consequences of abortion. The fetus had life in it. That life be it a baby girl or boy will haunt you forever! Yes, I mean forever.
  
  I later researched (which is my hobby) and found out something strange. The minute a woman takes seed, the law of attraction takes effect. Once it is aborted, the opposite takes place which is rejection. So the baby knows you have rejected it and feels very very sad. Some of these beings come to pull you out your misery. So upon rejecting it you gotten rid of maybe a bodyguard, a financier, and more importantly a comforter! I will have to write a book if I'm to continue with all I know.

  Maybe, try Natural Family Planning so you know the days of a woman's fertility which can help either way, trying to have babies, or not.
  There is nothing wrong with refraining from sex on the fertile days for a good reason (to plan number of kids you can provide for). Use the time to learn to pleasure each other in other ways. Can actually be more exciting when you have to wait for something... like when you save up to buy something (unless you one of those men who only thinks of himself - if so, poor woman)

  You nailed it (no pun intended). The article is out of touch with reality of village life. And yet, if people have access to the internet at school or on a cell phone... Do a search for "Does Porn make you dumb?" and read the article which is based on medical research. Why is there such a lack of self control among the young? Does sex education at early ages contribute to the already present urge from hormones to experiment? Instead of the former "self abuse", guiltily "copping a feel of the opposite sex", and later waiting in the confession line at church, people disrespect themselves by thinking they have to have casual intercourse without even (at least) waiting until they are engaged. Do parents even have "the talk" anymore with their kids or do they learn it all on the street?
