Keep a clean environment and stop eating hygienic food. Cooking after going to toilet without washing hands is not safe.

I am currently visiting Denmark, a very small country in Northern Europe.

The local news station broadcasted a program on cholera in Denmark. It was on their history channel. The last major cholera outbreak was in 53, 1853.

The people began to complain about the stench, the shit in the streets, the polluted water...and the politicians took action.

If a back then poor country as Denmark was in the 19th century (it when bankrupt in 1813) could fix this problem anno 1853, so can we in the year 2014.

But it means that we have to throw litter in the litter can, we may even ban plastic bags.

We must end the time of open gutters, and secure that all sewage water is probably cleaned before returning into nature, into our waterbodies.

And make sure that all have access to public qualitative toilets, with proper SOAP.

I mean, it is not rocket science to end cholera.
