Because of this issue I have contacted Dr. Asare myself as the comments flow. He only put as comment " Mr prez goes to give ad board motors to fisher folks and forgets of me by not even giving me a bicycle for Avian Influenza surveillance?". This was what he wrote on his page. Deputy Minister and for that matter, a colleague goes to react on another platform made up of Cuban Trained Graduates. Is it right? Does the doctor's statement has any kind of intimidation to government projects or any kind and for that matter to the Deputy Minister as colleague? Answer for yourself ! He was just making a comment on his working environment, needs logistics to enhance him to work sufficiently.

I commend Dr Bisiw for her tolerance of this irresponsible public servant.Nevertheless this practice of engaging the social media to attack the employer should be discouraged.

If a whole doctor of veterinary who is a senior public official sees that there is something wrong with veterinary service delivery in his own field and does not know that he has a responsibility towards the solution, then something must be seriously wrong. It is even so very bad if the things such a doctor is complaining about have all been provided and he does not even know because he has incompetently shut himself out of the system. Such dishonest public officials who take it upon themselves to discredit (so as to dislodge) the government will be faithful to their conscience if they resign.

This deputy is full of herself, maybe she should spend more time doing real work instead of polishing her face and looking at herself in the mirror all day, and just may be she will also learn to use social media usefully, warts and all. Bottom line is the worker complained or criticized government for a perceived shortfall, what then happened, the government delivered, no? Even the president has been using it, why can't the people do it too? Some of these are of the view that government must be worshiped for being "good" to us. We have rather given them jobs and we can criticize them in any manner we find appropriate. If you are in a position and you can't take criticism, no one forces you to be there.

Stop insulting whosoever has been mentioned and go to check on facts as I have done; how many vehicles delivered, how many motor bikes delivered since the outbreak in march to date, ect before ascertaining to the facts provided. Meanwhile how long is she taking to solve this bird flu outbreak in the country? over 20 outbreaks and still counting!!! Incapacity as a deputy minister !Go to the district vet offices to check on whether they are really resourced to function as an institution. Insolent and incapacitated deputy minister. Give us a break. This is no party politics affiliated issue but a national interest.

As a participant of the particular workshop, I only saw 5 pickups branded and no motorbikes are released to any district so far from the onset of the outbreak. Moreover, we were not pleasant with the way she addressed the issue on that workshop platform. So far 1000 GH Cedis for surveillance is what we have received for the past 6 months to conduct surveillance; this is ridiculous. How much does it cost to hold a radio talk show? This is peanut.
