The current practice where newly inducted doctors called house officers with no experience whatsoever are left to experiment with (attend to) serious medical cases while residents, specialists and consultants are away must be put to a stop immediately. There must be at least one specialist present 24 hours in three shift rotations to supervise them. Our health system as it is presently is not the best. The situation in the countryside and rural communities is even worse.
Do not doubt the wisdom in these words.

The health authorities should investigate the Peace & Love Hospitals and Breast Care International for going beyond their area of competence and attempting to treat breast cancer patients. What exactly are the qualifications of Dr Beatrice Wiafe-Addai? Is she qualified to treat cancer or is she simply trained to raise cancer awareness and offer support to cancer patients? Many families of breast cancer casualties whose loved ones received treatment from her are blaming her for the demise of their loved ones. It is alleged that to avoid negative publicity and negative statistics she refers patients to government hospitals after their cancer become terminal. She is certainly doing a good job with her advocacy efforts but should she be allowed to be putting people's lives at risk. Anas should consider investigating this woman.
