I hope this issue as it has gained national attention will be used as a sentinel event to galvanize a Patient Safety discussion and how to make medical care safer in Ghana. I will be following closely.

Ghanian Doctors are not held responsible for medical errors and therefore act with impunity
This is a tragedy born out of negligence. There must be due diligence for corrective measures to be instituted

GOD terrible...My friend once went to a hospital for abdomen pain...first the doctor said kidney stones...Gave drugs...wrong diagnosis...next doctor said appendix...and scheduled surgery..I had had my appendix removed at 15 years old and i knew these were not symptoms of bad appendix...I told my friend to run from that doctor or whatever he was. three years later the problem was fibroid. These dummy butchers in ghana dont know shit about medicine or doing right....I may have saved my friends life because even the first medicine they prescribed was suppose to stop pain and each time my friend took the dose....an hour later she was reeled over in pain from aches around her heart.....Its sad that these idiots can be so stupid and act like they are genius. PITIFUL PITIFUL PITIFUL.
