Has the Ministry provided beds in these hospitals? How much is a common Hospital bed?
Stop the free money to flashy ladies and buy hospital beds.

Seriously we have a problem. Is the government now aware of the situation in the hospital. We live in a country where everything isn't working yet people in the helm of affairs are praised for blowing our cash. Is it not unethical to care for a patient on the floor? Why punish the poor staff or nurse who told the truth to the relative. No bed means no bed....why?,Do u w amt the poor nurse to break her back only for her to retire with severe lower back pain and no social support. This is real....only if we rise above politics and demand our pound of flesh from those in authority, then we shall see progress. Also we should enhance the referral system in the country...facilities should communicate before referring and patients should always be transferred in an ambulance accompanied by a nurse. To the family I say "kpo" and may God keep him safe.

Sad to say my experience With korlebu. My brother was used as a learning body or something and eventually discharged in a bad condition. We couldn't go back when his situation got worse. He passed later at ridge hospital. Even though he died at 42yrs sad for me , the nurses were helpful. I tremble with fear when I drive past korlebu let alone through the hospital. When your patient could talk, I think the doctors would have no problem getting the right information or history. What went wrong? My experience at Ridge Hospital was different, my brother couldn't talk so, I understood their efforts. Well my condolence.

Many died because they were turned away from Korle bu, Police and 37 hospitals in Accra for lack of bed. None of the private hospital turn patients away because the medical officers and nurses are all in the business of Part time duties there and frustrate patients so they could be forced to go to the private hospitals... Government should enact legislation to stop public servants doing part time because many of them never work well for the 8 hour daily routine before leaving their work places. We complain of unemployment and still allow public servants to be lazy on their work. Sorry for Ghana.
