    The fact is that majority of patients cannot afford and they a way to get away. What has happened to NHIS that patients have had to pay huge sums of medical bills.
    NDC keeps denying the fact that NHIS has collapsed.

    NHIS was not well planned.
    We should have a national ID first and ensure every Ghanaian is well identified.
    Then from the ID we could have the NHIS cards and Tax card and properly monitor who pays or not.
