  So far not much has been said about the potential of barbering shops in the spreading of Aids and other diseases. It has been shown that Aids and other viruses can be transmitted through sharing of the same razor blades. Yet often many barbershops use a single clipper for their clients without using any chemicals for disinfection. Assuming that a HIV infected barber his with from a commercial public barbershop, even if chemicals were used on the blades, it is not yet scientifically clear the extent to which they could kill the virus before a barber takes on the next client. That is why i always insist my barber always use my personal barbering machine. I also make sure each of my kids have their own personal clippers when going to the barbershop. Prevention is better and less expensive than cure.

  What about using the same blade or knife
  to circumcise the clitorise or penis by the wamzam or what ever the called them.
  This barbaric pratice is still going on in some clans or villages which you may want people to forget ...

Let us all agree that HIV/AIDS issue is no more a health problem but ours.u may be either infected or affected. Be part of the campaign heading towards Zero new HIV infection,zero AIDS related deaths,stigma and discrimination against PLWHA
