Even so, could the government of Ghana ensure that the medicines for the fumigation and the technical ideas thereof are tapped and made as routine i.e. available to Ghanaians who are interested and can afford it or would want to control mosquitoes in their homes?

Rather the funds for this spraying exercise should be used to develop drainage systems and open areas which collect water for the breeding of the mosquitoes. also, examples are in Morocco where the harmful mosquitoes there have been cross-fertile with harmless mosquitoes to breed mosquitoes that do not give any sickness when they bite. please save the funds and research into the Morocco model so money can be used wisely

  You are ignorant and loud. The bulk of malaria causing mosquitoes in tropical Africa do not breed in the dirty stagnant drains you see in towns. Building drains alone will hardly make a dent in transmission. To fight malaria effectively you need to integrate all locally effective tools and methods. But favour those tools that have maximal impact. Oh BTW the gene manipulation you alluded to is not about cross fertilizing with "harmless mosquito" - wrong go back and read again. Use internet to educate yourselves.
