George Opare Addo, the National Youth Organiser of the largest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has made a passionate call on Akans to change their voting pattern come December 7, 2024.
He said the time has come for Ghanaians, especially Akans, to eschew the mentality of voting for an Akan party and vote for John Dramani Mahama and the NDC.
According to him, voting for Mahama massively and the NDC will liberate the country from this failed NPP government.
Opare Addo made this appeal in an interview on Atinka FM’s AM Drive with host Nana Yaw Fianko on April 23, 2024.
He claimed that for Ghana to come out from the current economic mess caused by the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), it would require an experienced, competent, and disciplined person adding that, that person is ex-president John Dramani Mahama.
He said the current economic hardships Ghanaians are facing are evidence that the ruling government led by Nana Addo and Bawumia has failed.
