Private legal practitioner, Maurice Ampaw, has leveled criticism at the leader of the Alliance for Revolutionary Change (ARC), Alan Kyerematen, regarding his political aspirations.
He contends that Alan's choice to associate with individuals who feel let down by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in disseminating his message is more detrimental than beneficial.
Ampaw maintains that the individuals who publicly represent Alan and express their grievances are tarnishing the NPP's reputation.
In a conversation with Kasapa FM which was monitored by GhanaWeb, the legal practitioner remarked, "After leaving the NPP, you have also surrounded yourself with people who are bitter, people who have been rejected by the NPP, or who feel that they were not treated well; those are the ones who have surrounded you. You have associated with them, and they are not channeling anything but bitterness.
“He doesn’t know where he stands, whether to join the opposition or be anti-opposition. What even makes it clear that Alan is not a politician is those he’s formed an alliance with. Failed politicians like Odike, even his own party that he formed, he was kicked out of it. How do you form an alliance with such a person?"
Hopeson Adorye, Buabeng Asamoa, and other notable figures have been serving as spokespersons for Alan.
