Bawumia doesn’t have to apologise for difficulty with exchange rate – Kwabena Agyepong

Senior Advisor to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Kwabena Agyepong, believes that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia does not need to apologize for the inability to “arrest” the cedi.

He says the NPP flagbearer acknowledges the difficulty with the exchange rate. However, the efforts of the New Patriotic Party in other aspects of the economy must also be recognized.

Kwabena Agyepong made this known while speaking on Accra-based Channel 1 television.

“It is important, but there are many things that we have done much better, so we are carrying our message to the people, and it is resonating with them. Yes, we accept the difficulty of the exchange rate regime, but he doesn’t need to apologize. The fact that you are not able to attain certain things doesn’t mean you should apologize.

We have an election to win, and we are confident that our message resonates with the people. They will make their decision on the 7th, and you’ll see Dr. Bawumia achieve 53%. You’ll see that the people respect him, they trust him, and he has clarity of thought,” he explained.
