Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia
Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Friday, 3 July 2020 registered for the national voter identity (I.D) card at the Kperiga D/A Primary School polling station in Walewale.
According to Dr Bawumia, the process was “very smooth and safe.”
He noted that the social distancing and other Covid-19 safety protocols put in place by the Electoral Commission at the polling station were also very encouraging.
“We are in challenging times because of Covid-19, but I encourage you, patriotic citizens of mother Ghana, to take part in the registration exercise,” he advised.
Dr Bawumia further encouraged Ghanaians to continue to adhere strictly to all safety measures, including wearing our face masks and observing social distancing.
The EC began the registration exercise on 30 June 2020 across the country.
