The Second Lady of Ghana, Hajia Samira Bawumia has passionately discussed the ongoing campaign efforts of her husband, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and his bid for the presidency in the upcoming elections, stating that the Vice President is the leader the country needs now.

Speaking on Tolon Radio, Samira opened up about her active involvement in the campaign, revealing how she has been touring the country to spread the message of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

“I’ve been travelling across the nation, promoting our slogan, ‘It’s possible.’ This slogan embodies my husband’s vision and policies, which we believe will usher Ghana into a new phase of transformation,” Samira said with conviction.

The Second Lady went on to elaborate on her husband’s unique qualities, particularly focusing on his character and passion for the nation.

According to her, Dr. Bawumia is not just a politician but a leader who embodies the hopes of many Ghanaians, especially the youth, who are concerned about their future.

“I have seen how the youth connect with his vision. They want a leader who not only understands their struggles but is ready to take bold steps to secure a better future for them,” Samira noted.

In the interview monitored by MyNewsGH.com, Hajia Samira reflected on the overwhelming support they’ve received across the country, expressing gratitude for the warm reception everywhere she goes.

“The support has been truly remarkable. Everywhere I go, people show us love because they believe in the vision Bawumia has for the country,” she added.

When asked why she believes Dr. Bawumia deserves the nation’s vote, Samira was candid, stating, “He has the charisma and the capacity to lead this country. His dedication to addressing the challenges we face is unmatched, and I believe he is the right person to steer Ghana towards prosperity.”

Samira’s efforts have not gone unnoticed, as her presence on the campaign trail has further energized their base, especially in the northern regions, where Bawumia’s roots run deep.

The “It’s possible” slogan has gained traction among Ghanaians, who resonate with its message of hope and progress.
