There will soon be an announcement for a five member committee for the Black Stars ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations campaign, according to inside reports.
Since the dissolution of the previous Management committee led by Wilfred Osei Parma, there have not been a substantive body in charge of Ghana’s senior national team although there was a Laison team in charge before the the current Normalization committee but both bodies are not the ideal outfits to oversee the smooth affairs of the national team going into a major tournament like the AFCON.
According to Ghanacrusader.com’s sources, Minister for Youth and Sports Mr Isaac Kwame Asiamah will soon announce a five member team led by Mr Perry Okudzeto and would be supported by Kudjoe Fianoo,Dr KK Sarpong, Samuel Abu Jinapor and one other representative from the GFA Normalization committee.
The Black Stars’ next assignment is on March 22 in an AFCON 2019 qualifier.
