Voting at polling stations that suffered technical challenges in today’s elections has been adjourned to Saturday, 8 December 2012, the Electoral Commission (EC) has directed.
Speaking exclusively to Joy Fm in Accra, the Director of Communications of the EC, Christian Owusu Parry, revealed that electoral officers at the various polling stations that encountered technical hitches have been directed to suspend voting until Saturday.
“We have directed all our officers at those polling stations to adjourn voting to tomorrow [Saturday] to enable those who were not able to cast their ballots to come back and do so,” Mr Owusu Parry disclosed.
